Residents' associations
The question is not whether they are coming. It is how the first one gets in.
The moment one resident has a charger fitted on their own, their cable run becomes the car park's cable run. The next person has to work around it, so does the third, and there comes a point where not one more cable will fit through the ceiling slab. Pre-installation means deciding once, at a residents' meeting, how the building is wired for charging, instead of inheriting the cable route left by whoever got there first.
The project
From today's garage to a garage that is ready.
Three moments: how the garage is now, how it looks after the pre-installation and what happens the day an owner decides to install their charging point. Switch tabs or let it play. It is the diagram we bring to every meeting, with the real garage's data.
Standard on every installationFrom the day it goes live
The Solventium guarantee
Ten years. In writing.
A properly done installation should never worry you again. That is why every installation comes with a ten-year guarantee on the installation, as standard and with no small print. It is not a brochure line: it is in your contract, with the name and tax ID of who signs it.
Cable run and conduit
The cable and conduit from your meter to your parking space, sized for what you charge today and what you will charge in five years.
Connections, fixings and assembly
Every terminal, every anchor and the board that protects your home, checked point by point before it goes live.
Labour and call-outs
If anything of ours fails, we come, we fix it and we do not even charge the visit. It is our work and we sign it.
The charger and the protective devices carry their manufacturer's warranty plus the three-year statutory guarantee. When you do things properly, signing them for ten years is nothing to fear.
Advantages of pre-installation
Decided once. Used forever.
Decided once, at the meeting
The route, the slab penetrations and the materials are approved once, with technical documentation on the table. Afterwards there is no need to debate each installation that comes along.
Your car park goes up in value
A parking space with charging infrastructure available sells and rents better than one where the buyer has to start by asking whether a charger can be installed. The investment stays in the building.
What comes next is simple
With the conduit in place, connecting a charging point stops being building work and becomes a few hours of electrical work.
A signed project, not an improvised installation
The difference between hiring an engineering firm and hiring an installation shows when something goes off plan. We size, execute, certify and answer for it afterwards, all under the same signature.
How it works
From the meeting to the finished garage.
The association does not need to settle anything before calling us. We prepare the documentation, explain it wherever needed and execute once the minutes are signed.
Preliminary study, free of charge
We visit the garage, measure the route and confirm the exit from the meter room.
Documentation for the meeting
Technical report, route diagram and cost breakdown, ready to attach to the meeting notice.
The meeting
If you ask, an engineer attends, explains the project and answers the owners in person.
Final survey
An engineer finalises the route once the minutes are signed. If the scope changes, it is communicated before starting.
Execution
Coordinated with the administrator so garage access is not interrupted. Everything through common areas.
Certification and registration
Installation certificate and registration with the competent body. The association receives the signed documentation.
The questions that come up at the residents' meeting.
We have presented this project to many associations. These are the questions that always come up, with the answer we give in front of the owners.
«There are no electric cars in the car park yet»
«Why should the whole building pay for it if only some of us will use it?»
«I don't want building work in my parking space»
«Will the residents' association pay for it on the electricity bill?»
“What if it ends up costing more than quoted?”
“Who deals with the permits?”
"How is the cost split?"
What the residents' association gets before voting.
Free and with no obligation: technical report, cable route drawing and cost breakdown, ready to attach to the minutes. And if you ask, an engineer at the meeting to answer residents' questions.
Are you a residents' association?
Get in touch and we'll prepare a full survey of the car park, with a technical report and a fixed-price quote, ready for you to take to the residents' meeting.
